ParisChicShopping Charity Projects

As mindful shoppers can see, more and more companies, including GAP and Armani, have launched products and advertising campaigns, where part of the purchase price goes to fund AIDS research. This Christmas, on www.gap.com you can purchase a Stella McCartney tee-shirt printed with red chains and necklaces as part of its Red marketing campaign to fund AIDS research.

Nor are they alone. Every October, there are always special promotional beauty products that help fund breast cancer research as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. However, brands like the Estée Lauder Companies’ Bobbi Brown, Prescriptives, Origins and La Mer as well as SEPHORA, I.C.O.N. and Avon donate a portion of the proceeds from certain skin care beauty products and cosmetics all year long. Learn which makeup purchases help fund breast cancer research. Today’s chic and savvy shopper has a conscience.

We want to join our guests in this approach to spending, and that is why we are going to donate half-day shopping tours to your favorite charity, as the need and opportunity come up. Please don’t hesitate to write to chic@parischicshopping.com for your ideas on charities that might need our support.

In addition, for our Food and Wine tours, we would like to donate 5% of each tour booked to a favorite charity dedicated to supporting those people most in need. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
